In the quest for skilled talent, we are on the lookout for Category-I Graduate Apprentices in the realms of Engineering and Technology, particularly focusing on Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. There are 18 openings for these apprenticeships, offering a monthly stipend of Rs.9000 to aid in financial stability throughout the training phase. This program spans one year, allowing apprentices to acquire essential hands-on experience in their selected disciplines.
Additionally, we are also welcoming applications for Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, concentrating on Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. A total of 61 positions are available for eager learners. Throughout this one-year training program, apprentices will receive a monthly allowance of Rs.8000, designed to facilitate their education and practical growth. This timeframe ensures that apprentices can thoroughly immerse themselves in their field of study, gaining valuable insights and skills.
TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024
For Category I, Graduate Apprentices are required to have a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Statutory University within their specific field. They may also qualify with a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology awarded by an institution authorized by an Act of Parliament in the relevant area, or through a graduate examination conducted by professional bodies acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as being equivalent to the previously mentioned degrees.
Conversely, Category II, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices need to possess a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education set up by the State Government in their relevant discipline. They may also be eligible with a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a university in the pertinent field, or a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an institution recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to the qualifications stated above.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024
The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist from the information provided in online applications. Selections will be made according to the percentage of marks obtained in the necessary basic qualifications relevant to each discipline. Candidates who are shortlisted will be informed via their registered email. Subsequently, these candidates are required to participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.
How to apply TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment 2024?
If you’re a student who has previously registered on the old National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details, please type “A.”
Step 1:
a. Visit the URL https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Select the option for Students
c. Click on Student login
d. Hit Forgot Password
e. Enter your registered email to get the activation link and reset your password.
Step 2:
a. Log in as a student
b. Input your registered email and set a new password
c. Complete the application form
d. You will receive a unique Enrollment number (12 digits) assigned to you.
Once you’ve finished enrolling on the new portal:
To submit your application:
a. Log in using your email and new password
b. Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and search for “TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT”
c. Click apply. Your status will display as “applied.”
