Dearness Allowance for KVS Teachers and Staff
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a well-known educational body, has recently announced an important update regarding staff remuneration. Starting January 1, 2024, all teaching and non-teaching personnel within the KVS framework will benefit from a substantial salary boost. A notable 50% Dearness Allowance has been sanctioned for every employee, irrespective of their specific position in the organization.
This additional financial support will be computed based on 50% of the respective Basic pay, ensuring equitable compensation across all employee categories within KVS. To ease any financial burden, the Dearness Allowance for the months of January and February will be disbursed as arrears, while the allowance for March will be incorporated into the next salary payment.
