However, there exist concessions for specific groups: OBC (Non-creamy layer) applicants enjoy a 3-year age relief, while SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation for designated positions. Individuals with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are accorded a substantial age extension of up to 10 years.

For former Apprentice Trainees, the age hurdle can be surmounted by adjusting the age limit to correspond with the training period under the Apprentice Act.
