Age Limit for HVF Avadi Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Candidates falling under the UR category must not exceed 24 years of age, while those in the OBC category have a maximum age limit of 27 years, and individuals under the SC/ST category can be up to 29 years old. Moreover, each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST) allows for an additional extension of up to 10 years beyond the initial limit. For applicants holding ITI qualifications, their upper age boundary can be prolonged by the duration of training undergone in accordance with the standard NCVT/SCVT period for the relevant trade. It is essential for candidates to meet a minimum age of 15 years.
Qualification of HVF Avadi Apprentice 2024
Individuals who do not possess a background in the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) must have effectively finished the Madhyamik examination (equivalent to class X standard) when the notification is issued, securing at least 50% marks as specified by the relevant Board. It is crucial that they have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science based on their official Marksheet.
For ITI candidates:
The applicant should have successfully completed the Madhyamik exam or its equivalent. Additionally, they need to have cleared a trade assessment relevant to their field from an accredited institution authorized by either the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), or any other recognized body as stipulated in the official notification by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment. The duration of this vocational assessment must comply with the regulations outlined in the Apprentice Act of 1961, with a minimum passing grade of 50%. The selection of the appropriate trade will strictly follow the guidelines set forth in Schedule I of the Apprentice Act of 1961 and its subsequent revisions.

Monthly Salary for HVF Avadi Apprentice 2024
Trade apprentices will be entitled to a monthly stipend in accordance with the Apprenticeship Rules of 1992. The stipend rates are outlined in the Trade Apprentice Act of 1961 and the official Gazette notification G.S.R. 686(E) issued on September 25, 2019. There will be no supplementary allowances provided during the apprenticeship period. For non-ITI candidates (Matriculation/Xth Class), the stipend will be ₹5000/₹6000 for the initial year and ₹5500/₹6600 for the subsequent year. EX-ITI candidates (ITI pass) will receive ₹7700 for a one-year trade program and ₹8050 for a two-year trade program. Upon commencement, candidates are required to furnish a bank passbook copy displaying a legible account number and IFSC code.
