Minimum Educational Qualification: Minimum Educational Qualification: Rest assured, the basic educational qualification is a prerequisite solely for the GDS post! One must hold a 10th Class or X Standard pass certificate awarded by any recognized institution. Moreover, a proficiency in computer skills, cycling, and livelihood would be advantageous. Additionally, applicants are expected to have studied the local language up to at least the 10th Standard from a recognized board. In essence, this entails completing formal education in the local language up to a level equivalent to the 10th Standard, as attested by a recognized educational board.

An individual can apply for one or more available GDS positions in a single selected Division. Before finalizing the Division choice, the applicant must verify their details by entering the Registration number and OTP received on the registered mobile number. An applicant will only be considered for a post if they have indicated their preference(s) for it. In the event of being shortlisted, only one post will be offered for engagement, and all other preferences will be voided.
For illustration, suppose an applicant selects five posts in a Division with preferences like post1, post2, post3, post4, post5, etc., and is deemed meritorious for more than one post. In that case, the first preferred post in which they are most suitable will be offered, with their candidature for other posts being forfeited.
