SSC JHT Salary Structure 2024
Code A indicates the role of Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in the Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS) and offers a salary range at Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400).

SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria 2024

SSC JHT Age Limit 2024

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Holding a Master’s degree from an accredited University in Hindi with English as either a compulsory or elective subject, or having used English as the medium of instruction during the degree program.
OR - Possessing a Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as either a compulsory or elective subject, or having used Hindi as the medium of instruction during the degree program.
OR - Having a Master’s degree from an accredited University in any discipline other than Hindi or English, with Hindi being the medium of instruction and English as either a compulsory or elective subject, or having used English as the medium of instruction during the degree program.
OR - Attaining a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline other than Hindi or English, with English being the medium of instruction and Hindi as either a compulsory or elective subject, or having used Hindi as the medium of instruction during the degree program.
OR - Obtaining a Master’s degree from an accredited University in any discipline other than Hindi or English, with both Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, or with one language as the medium of instruction and the other as a compulsory or elective subject during the degree program.
ALONG WITH - Holding a recognized Diploma or Certificate in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or having two years of experience in translation work between Hindi and English in a Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
Additional Qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree from an accredited university in Hindi with English as a required or optional subject, or having been the language of instruction during undergraduate studies.
- A postgraduate degree from an accredited university in English with Hindi as a required or optional subject, or having been the language of instruction during undergraduate studies.
- A postgraduate degree from an accredited university in any discipline other than Hindi or English, with Hindi being the language of instruction and English as a required or optional subject, or having been the language of examination at the undergraduate level.
- A postgraduate degree from an accredited university in any discipline other than Hindi or English, with English being the language of instruction and Hindi as a required or optional subject, or having been the language of examination at the undergraduate level.
- A postgraduate degree from an accredited university in any discipline other than Hindi or English, with both Hindi and English as required or optional subjects, or one of them being the language of examination and the other as a required or optional subject at the undergraduate level.
- Possession of a recognized certificate or diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or a minimum of three years’ experience in translation work between Hindi and English in a government office, including those under the Government of India.
