TN ITI Admission: Minimum Qualification and Requirements
Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission 2024: Enrollment for vocational training institutes (ITI) in Tamil Nadu for the year 2024 is currently open through the Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission 2024. The state boasts 102 Government Vocational Training Centers and 305 Private Vocational Training Centers under the purview of the Employment and Training Department. The recruitment of coaches for the academic year 2024-2025 was successfully conducted online and concluded on June 28, 2024.
Individuals who have completed either 8th or 10th grade are eligible for direct admissions to these vocational training centers. The enrollment period for these centers will run from July 1, 2024, to July 15, 2024. Prospective students can personally visit the centers with their certificates to choose their desired profession and kickstart their vocational training.
Many apprentices who have received training at vocational institutes in Tamil Nadu have gone on to secure employment in various leading industrial companies over the years. TN ITI Admission 2024: How to apply online?
To enroll in Tamil Nadu ITI Admission for the 2024 academic year, carefully follow the steps outlined in the instructional video and manual before proceeding with the application form.
Make sure to have all original certificates ready for submission at the vocational training center during the admission process, as failing to do so will result in disqualification of the application.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all information uploaded is accurate, as any inconsistencies may lead to rejection by the relevant authorities at any stage of the application review.
When completing the application form, keep the following documents accessible:
- Candidate’s Full Name
- Email Address
- Contact Number
Use a valid and unique email address and phone number, as these details cannot be changed and will be used for future communication. Verify that they are not already registered on the website.
The candidate’s Date of Birth must indicate that they have reached the age of 14 by 01.08.2024.
Include information on Community/Caste (ST/SCA/SC/MBC/DNT/BCM/BC).
Aadhaar number is a mandatory requirement for the application process.

Please specify priority reservation for the following categories:
a. Military veterans or their family members
b. Persons with disabilities
c. Champions at the state level in sports
d. Children without parents
TN ITI Admission 2024: Required Documents
Please provide the required details to complete the online application fee payment using methods such as Debit card, credit card, Gpay, or Net banking. For the year 2021, it is essential that only parents of 10th-grade students register the marks obtained in the 9th grade.
Save the following certificates in JPEG format with a file size ranging from 50 kb to 100 kb:
- Mark Sheets for 8th and 10th grades
- Transfer Certificate
- Community or Caste Certificate
- Priority Reservation Certificate
- Migration Certificate for candidates from different states
Prepare scanned passport-sized photos and signatures in JPG format, ensuring the photo size is between 50 kb to 100 kb and the signature size is between 10 kb to 20 kb. Locate the EMIS No., which can be found on the student’s Transfer Certificate or School ID card.
